If you fancy a night out with a difference why not take yourself to see Into The Hoods. This hip-hop dance musical is an urban fairy tale based around Sondheim’s, Into The Woods and is a superb display of British dance talent.
The choreography and direction by Kate Prince in this production is seamless. At no point does the production drag or loose its feel good vibe. The clever use of a booming voice over also allows the energy to be maintained in-between hip hop classics from the likes of Basement Jaxx and LL Cool Jay.
Humour also plays a great part in this production and continues to energise the audience who whoop and holler throughout. The sheer energy of these exceptionally talented dancers continues to amaze and impress you and if you don’t leave the theatre without a smile on your face and an overwhelming desire to strut your stuff on the nearest dance floor then you simply have no soul. Buy, borrow or beg just go to and see this production as some serious respect is due!
