Bournemouth

Tower Park is a newly refurbished entertainment centre situated three miles northwest of nearby Poole centre. Featuring a SplashDown water park, Megabowl, UCI cinema, surf/snow simulator and bungee trampoline, Tower Park has got it all. Dine in one of the many eateries or get your week’s groceries at the massive Tesco’s. 

Beales is a huge department store located on Old Christchurch Road that has been a Bournemouth favourite for years. Get everything you need from a pair of Speedo’s to a new TV, Beales can satisfy all of your shopping needs.

Castlepoint Shopping Centre is a little further afield but well worth it. Find all of your high street favourites under one roof for those retail therapy days.

Arcade Shopping Centre is a traffic-free shopping haven from the bustling town centre. Offering a very pleasant shopping experience, Arcade Shopping Centre allows you to shop under the cover of a glass domed ceiling, great for those rainy days.

Things to Do In Bournemouth:
For those interested in studying in Bournemouth who are arty types, go to All Fired Up ceramics café where you can paint your own designs on most household items whilst tucking into a delicious homemade cake and a cup of tea.

Oceanarium is Bournemouth’s aquarium located close to the pier. There is no limit to the types of sea life you can find here. Check out the 350,000 litre ocean tank recreating Australia’s Great Barrier Reef or other creatures specific to the Amazon, the Nile and the Ganges.

Get panoramic views of over 20 miles of coastline on The Bournemouth Eye. This harnessed hot air balloon takes passengers up to 500 ft high for some breathtaking views. Weather permitting; the balloon ascends from 7.30am until 11pm from April to September every year. Corfe Castle sits prominently on the picturesque Isle of Purbeck, accessible by road on the A351, by bus or by train from Bournemouth. This 12th Century building has been linked to William the Conqueror and the castle grounds were the setting of the murder of King Edward’s murder in 978.

Pleasure Gardens are the ideal place to chill out and enjoy some local foliage.
Created in the 1840’s, this peaceful area has 45 acres of gardens, ponds, picnic areas and pathways. Go for a summer picnic or do some reading in award-winning surroundings. The gardens also host a number of concerts throughout the year.

Take a cruise down the beautiful coastline of Bournemouth on the Dorset Belles. There are regular services linking Bournemouth, Swanage, Poole Quay, Brown Sea Island and the Isle of Wight. Bournemouth Live! Music Festival
Whatever your taste in music, you’ll find something you like at Bournemouth Live! Music Festival. The event attracts a number of bands from all over the UK and last year, music legend Bob Dylan performed with his band on the final day of the festival. This year, the festival runs from 24th June until 1st July and takes place on a number of open-air stages and venues in Bournemouth.
