The Bournemouth & Poole College offers a range of HE programmes and degree level qualifications run in conjunction with partner universities.
The Bournemouth & Poole College is one of the largest Further Education colleges in the UK offering high quality education and training with excellent learning opportunities for students of all ages.
Working in partnership with associate universities the College offers a constantly expanding provision of university-level programmes, including Pre-Access and Access to Higher Education and the popular Foundation degrees, together with other degree-level programmes including Higher National Diplomas (HND) and Honours degrees.
The College has a reputation for excellence having won numerous accolades such as Beacon Awards and CoVE status. Specialist curriculum Academies provide learners with state-of-the art facilities and resources, together with well-qualified post-16 teaching professionals. The College pride themselves in offering a highly supportive and friendly learning environment. International students also play a key role in college life, with students from over 40 different countries choosing to study in Dorset, many choosing Higher Education programmes run in partnership with Bournemouth University. The Bournemouth & Poole College has two centrally located main campuses at North Road, Poole and The Lansdowne, Bournemouth. Both are easily accessible by public transport, and are within each reach of the University campus. It is also well positioned and close to the main town centres and beautiful coastline.
Students have access to excellent facilities and resources, including Jellicoe Theatre, Knighton Heath Music Centre, computer suites, study centres, libraries, laboratories and workshops. You can also benefit from an extremely supportive student network of services, including Study Advice Centres, Learning Support Services, Customer Services, plus don’t forget the social calendar with the Student’s Union - both at The College and Bournemouth University.
