Postgraduate Courses at Nottingham University

The School of Biosciences at Nottingham University has an international reputation for teaching and research:

 

• 23/24 for UK teaching Quality Assessment (TQA)

• 5A for all research centres (Research Assessment Exercise)


Students are taught by leading specialists in the most rapidly developing areas of biosciences and many of our academic staff are expert advisers to government institutions and industry. We currently offer MSc programmes in:

• Plant Genetic Manipulation

• Food Production Management

• Law & Environmental Science

• Crop Improvement

• Brewing Science

• MRes in Transcriptomic, Proteomic and Metabolomic Sciences*


Competitive Bursaries of £2000 are available to UK and EU students in 2007.


The School currently has about 270 postgraduates from all over the world so you will be part of a friendly and supportive community with all the advantages of belonging to a world-class university. Courses are based at Sutton Bonington campus (except Environmental Science which is based at University Park). The campus is also home to the new School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.
